Radiant Cave

Blood, Sacred, and Soul Radiant Cave paths

Open the Teleport interface and select Radiant Cave to reach the cave entrance. The Radiant Tamer's pocket is safe. Crossing north or east enters a shared, multi-combat Wilderness area that rises from level 45 to 70. Attacks cannot cross the safe boundary.

Normal teleports are blocked in the cave. Speak to the Radiant Tamer to leave. The Tamer also opens paths, tasks, shops, sacrifice, perk information, currency conversion, and the Slayer-key perk.

Choose One of Three Paths

Speak to the Radiant Tamer and choose Open Radiant paths. Only one path is active. You may switch after finishing and claiming your current task; its reward always belongs to the path that assigned it. Path points are permanent and unlock 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the perk at 25, 100, 250, and 500 points. A perk works while its path is active and at least one matching path item is equipped.

Blood: up to 25% PvM damage as your health falls, reaching full strength at 10% HP or lower. It does not apply to PvP.
Soul: up to 10% damage based on current Prayer compared with maximum Prayer.
Sacred: scales with Wilderness rating, up to 30% PvM damage and 15% PvP damage.

Tasks and Path Progress

Choose New Task, kill the named Radiant target in the dangerous cave, then press Claim. Off-target kills do not count. Assignments move between depth bands and task sizes become shorter on deeper targets. A Radiant Skip changes an unfinished task to another depth; a Radiant Pick lets you choose a target from another depth. Neither can replace a completed, unclaimed task.

Target	Task points	Path essence
Radiant sanguisphera	1	38
Karil the Tainted	1	38
Guthan the Infested	2	48
Ahrim the Blighted	2	48
Torag the Corrupted	3	58
Verac the Defiled	3	65
Dharok the Wretched	4	75
Radiant Tormented Demon	6	115

Each path also has repeatable objectives. Blood tracks finishing-blow overkill, dangerous-cave PvP kills, and claimed-task streaks. Soul tracks Radiant bones, dangerous-cave PvP kills, and claimed-task streaks. Sacred tracks dangerous-cave PvP, claimed-task streaks, and eligible cave time with another living player present.

Essence, Vouchers, and Sacrifice

Blood, Sacred, and Soul have separate essence balances, each capped at 5,000. Shop purchases spend essence; they do not spend permanent path points. A Radiant Voucher gives 100 essence to the currently active path and requires room for the full amount.

The Sacrifice screen works differently: the item decides which path receives essence, not your active path. Select one eligible item from your inventory. The preview identifies its matched path and the exact essence you will receive. Confirming consumes one item and awards up to 100 matching-path essence, limited by the room left under 5,000. If only 20 room remains, the item is still consumed for 20—always read the preview before confirming.

Only the listed Radiant gear is accepted. Blood accepts its melee weapons and jewellery, including Radiant granite maul, Emberlight, hasta, Saradomin's radiant sword, rancour, Ultor, Broodlord maul, soulreaper axe, dragon hunter lance, and Blade of saeldor. Sacred accepts Radiant Oathplate, Slayer helmet, tome, Inquisitor pieces, Zaryte crossbow, blowpipe, Venator ring, anguish, and buckler. Soul accepts Radiant chitin staff, Siren's staff, Venator bow, staff of the storm, Bow of faerdhinen, occult, Magus ring, and Dizana's quiver. The interface rejects non-eligible items.

Three Different Shops

Each shop uses only its matching essence and also checks permanent points. The point requirement is a gate, not a cost.

Currency Convert spends 100 essence from your active path to create that path's conversion item. Separately, the Tamer sells a 5,000-essence Slayer-key perk scroll, which permanently auto-banks tier 3 and tier 4 Slayer keys when bank space is available.

Radiant Bones and Cave Materials

Every qualifying Radiant NPC drops one Radiant bone; a qualifying dangerous-cave PvP kill drops 15 for the killer. They can only be buried in the dangerous cave, and only advance the objective while Soul is active.

Radiant NPCs also drop Radiant divine essence and Radiant Fibre for Upgrade Machine recipes. Eligible time requires you to be alive in the dangerous cave with another living player present. It pauses when that condition is not met and resets on safety, leaving, or death. At 15, 30, 45, and 60 eligible minutes, the material bonus rises to 5%, 7%, 9%, and 10%. This improves only Divine essence and Fibre rolls—not the whole loot table.
